M.O.R.E
What is the M.O.R.E. ministry?
M.O.R.E. is a group of Christians who show support and encouragement to our men and women in the US Uniformed Services. For those who are deployed to foreign countries, we want to provide spiritual, emotional, and physical support to the families who have been left behind.
M.O.R.E. seeks to provide information and encouragement to parents, grandparents, and, in particular, spouses of those who have been called away from their families. M.O.R.E. seeks to be a source of comfort, information, caring help, and willing hands. Our goal is to provide spiritual comfort in all cases.
How can I participate in the M.O.R.E. ministry?
M.O.R.E. meets every Monday night from 7:00 to 9:00 at the Mayfair Church of Christ on Carl T. Jones Drive. Each meeting begins with a social time followed by a short devotional. After the devotional and a prayer, we embark on the evenings activities. This consists of sharing news from our servicemen and women, writing letters, and making care packages. From time to time, we may have a speaker.
One of our church leaders will be present to offer spiritual guidance and prayer. Please drop in when you have the opportunity.
How can I let M.O.R.E. know of a serviceman that I want prayed for or written to?
If you are interested in being part of the M.O.R.E. group, or would like for a family member to be a recipient of the M.O.R.E. support, simply email us and submit the information needed. Also, please let us know if there is a change in address or change in status of the individual.
