Study of the Beatitudes

An in-depth study on the Beatitudes from Matt. 5:1-16. What is Jesus trying to teach his disciples? What does it mean to be a disciple/follower of Christ? What foundational principles is Jesus laying down as he begins the famous Sermon on the Mount? We will look at the teaching of Jesus from
the perspective of the 1st century followers and how it applies to us today.
